Ong Boon Hwee

Stewardship Asia Centre
Mr Ong Boon Hwee is the former CEO of Stewardship Asia Centre (SAC), a thought leadership centre established under Temasek Trust. Under his direction, SAC focused on promoting effective stewardship and governance across Asia through inspiring and catalysing organizational change towards responsible wealth creation.
Mr Ong has diverse experience in key executive roles, including Singapore Power, Temasek Holdings, and Temasek Management Services Group. Mr Ong also serves as a director on the boards of a number of companies and non-profit organizations, and in his earlier military career, Brigadier-General Ong held key command and staff positions in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Mr Ong is also the co-author of two books – ENTRUSTED: Stewardship for Responsible Wealth Creation (2020) and Inspiring Stewardship (2016).
Mr Ong holds a First Class Honours in Economics from the National University of Singapore, and a Master’s Degree in Military Arts & Science from the United States Command & General Staff College.

Mark Goyder is an award-winning speaker, writer and broadcaster with over 15 years’ experience as a manager in manufacturing businesses. He is Founder of Tomorrow’s Company, a London-based business think tank which he founded in 1996 and led until his retirement in 2017. He remains a trustee. Tomorrow’s Company works with business leaders, investors and policymakers and partners to inspire and enable business to be a force for good in society. Tomorrow’s Company paved the way for changes in Directors’ Duties under UK Company Act as well as the emergence of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment and Stewardship Code in the United Kingdom.
Mark has held advisory roles working with leaders in British Airways, British Telecommunications, Camelot, Novo Nordisk and Walgreens Boots Alliance. He is the author of Living Tomorrow’s Company – rediscovering the human purposes of business (2013), and co-author of ENTRUSTED: Stewardship for Responsible Wealth Creation.
Mark has served as a Kent County Councillor. He has a degree in Economics and Social and Political Science from Cambridge University, where he was elected President of the Cambridge Union. In 2019 Mark’s work has been recognised by the award of an Honorary Doctorate in Civil Law by the University of East Anglia.
